Introduction

The Fast Track Programme Extended Accident and Incident Investigation is a combination of the "Introduction to Accident and Incident Investigation" course and the "Advanced Accident and Incident Investigation" course. 

Participants will become familiar with:

 

  1. The legal requirements for incident investigations and the goals of incident investigations
  2. How to perform an incident investigation
  3. Human factors during an incident
  4. The contents of an incident report
  5. Why make recommendations and the follow-up of recommendations in an organisation

Who should take this course

The target audience for this course are the persons in organisations who have to perform the investigations of the incidents in their organisation, like: Investigators for ANSPs, Investigators for airlines, Investigators for flight schools, and Investigators for HEMS operators.

Pre-requisites

Essential:

Preferably participants have been nominated or are to be nominated in: 

  • a position as investigator for an ANSP
  • a position as a Flight Safety Officer or Investigator for an airline or flight school
  • a position as an investigator for a HEMS operator

Participants are kindly requested to bring a laptop to the course to access training course material which will only be provided in electronic format.

 

Training course delivery will be in the English Language.
