NAA Inspectors - EASA Aircrew Licensing

The "NAA Inspectors - EASA Aircrew Licensing" course is designed for National Aviation Authority (NAA) inspectors, staff of AOC holders, and training organizations. It provides a comprehensive understanding of EU regulations related to aircrew licensing, including EC Regulation 216/2008, EU Regulation 628/2013, and EU Regulation 1178/2011. Participants will gain knowledge of inspector roles, licensing requirements, and the responsibilities of competent authorities. The course offers a deep dive into aircrew regulations and is structured to support inspectors in ensuring regulatory compliance within the aviation industry.

The course will familiarize participants with the relevant parts of the 3 regulations covered, which are mentioned below. It will also give a more thorough understanding of the topics that are especially relevant for Inspectors.

• Knowledge: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of EU aircrew licensing regulations (EC 216/2008, EU 628/2013, EU 1178/2011) and their application to NAA inspections and oversight responsibilities.
• Skills: Apply regulatory frameworks and best practices during aircrew licensing inspections to ensure compliance and operational safety in accordance with EASA standards.
• Attitudes: Promote a culture of safety and regulatory compliance within aviation organizations by conducting fair, consistent, and thorough inspections.
• Performance: Effectively conduct inspections, identify non-compliance issues, and recommend corrective actions based on up-to-date regulatory knowledge.

A desire to get an understanding of basic auditing requirements for the Air Crew regulation.

Note: Participants are kindly requested to bring a laptop to the course to access course material which will only be provided in electronic format. The training material will be provided electronically and access to this information is required for some elements of the course.

An optional JAA TO examination is available for this course. Candidates who pass a JAA TO Examination, receive an ECAC/JAA TO Certificate of Accomplishment.

Training course delivery will be in the English Language.
